Statement
Born and raised in Andover, Massachusetts, Jane has been involved in art all her life. An alumnus of Rhode Island School of Design, Jane has also studied at The Art Center of Northern New Jersey and Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey.
Jane has been painting portraits of homes, people and pets for many years. While living in New Jersey, she illustrated several books about area historic buildings.
Jane has had her watercolors accepted in juried shows in New Jersey, The Newport Art Museum in Newport, RI, The South County Art Association in Kingston, RI, and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society in Pawtucket, RI. She has also shown some of her work at the Spring Bull Gallery in Newport, where she currently makes her home.
Jane and her husband, Mike, own a gallery at 11 Brown Street in Wickford, RI.
